Structure is the way things are organised like / in, following a logical order. We can find different types of structures all around the world, and they can be either physical or theorical structures. For example, a building is a physical structure, but family is a theorical structure. A structure is a combination of individual aspects, which work all together to get good results. In poetry, structure is a very important concept since there are a lot of different types of poems, and they are classified according to specific characteristics in structure. When writing a poem it is very important to have the structure of the specific poem type your writing in mind, since it will guide you, and will give you good, precise results
Poetry is the most intense form of human expression through literature where poets (poetry authors) use different types of literary elements, structures and more to create divine pieces of art which are full of creativity, feelings, and expression. A poem can transmit anything a poet is trying to express through that piece of work, and that is why people consider poetry extremely expressive. Additionally, there are a lot of great poets all around the world, and their pieces of work shine amongst others because of that ability to express feelings and sensations in an open way. According to www.dictionary.com "poetry" means: "The art of rhythmical composition, written or spoken, for exciting pleasure by beautiful, imaginative, or elevated thoughts."
A good poem is the result of a creative process and a lot of inspiration. This is one of the most important aspects when writing a poem, since inspiration allways brings coherent ideas (which are essential to write a good poem) to your mind, and allow you to creatively write the poem up. It is also important to keep in mind the structure and special characteristics of each type of poem, so the poem is allways coherent, and at the same time creative. The structure actually helps when writing a poem, because it helps the poet organize his ideas in a correct way.
In think this will be a very fun project to do, since it offers a new way of presenting a project (in a journal) and it is also helpful for us, the students, which can remember easily all the information that is tought to us. Additionally, this information can be accessed easily, and from any place in the world, which is also benefitial when it comes to study for quizes and exams. I am looking forward into making our own poem, and choosing the poem structure we like, since it will let us develop our creativity in an efficient way. Also, we will be able to write about anything we like, and maybe, truly express ourselves through poetry.
